Competition Overview

The Las Vegas Laughs Comedy Competition is the biggest opportunity to ever come to the Hudson Valley and Upstate New York’s Comedy community. Starting on Father’s Day Weekend, June 14, 2019, we created an amazing platform for new voices in stand up comedy.

In this very exciting series of four comedy shows, begins with our Father’s Day Man Law Comedy Show headlined by The Latin Diva of Comedy, Ms. Sara Contreras, feature Ariana Rodriguez and hosted by NBC’s Last Comic Standing finalist, Nikki Carr. New comics will present their best material in 5-minute sets as they battle for the night’s top spot, along with a shot at an all expense paid trip to perform on stage in America's ultimate destination for entertainment, Las Vegas. Second and third place winners will receive a cash prize. The competition will be judged by the professional comedian line up for each show.

Competition Rules

The Audition

STEP 1. Get Registered. Once registered, you will be provided upload instructions in your welcome email to upload a video of your joke to our competition page.

STEP 2. Record and upload your video.

Use your cell phone or other digital video device to record a short video of your comedy set or Joke. The video must be recorded horizontally and be no longer then 2 minutes.

How do you qualify?

Getting in the show is up to you and your supporters. The most votes gets you in. 5 New Comics will be selected.

Here is the best part, you will be selected by the public. The most likes (or thumbs up) gets you qualified. We will select the top five contestants who have generated the most likes by June 12.

Registration fee: There is a $75.00 fee to register. This fee weeds out the people that are not serious. We are going to make it worth your while. When you qualify and are selected, you will receive elements for your press kit.

After you register and upload your video, we will upload your video to our youtube channel. We will email you the link. This is where you will need to get the word out about your competition. Five (5) Comics will be selected. The comic with the highest number of votes on YouTube(thumbs up) will be selected to compete on stage at the next comedy show date.

You will receive a media kit just for registering to avertise with, promote yourself etc.
